Hi! Thanks for visiting. I’m Emily Vera, the person behind Big Family Trips. I love to travel and write about my experiences, and that is what started this blog. It has led me to collaborate with some pretty cool destinations and get creative with ads for a variety of businesses.

I am a life-long local in the Mid-Atlantic Region and a mom to four kids and a dog. But, I am also an experienced professional – a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a nonprofit leader for the last decade. I work hard to maintain clarity in expectations, provide an excellent customer experience, and follow through on all commitments.
